Job Description:
A company is looking for an Avionics Mechanical Engineer
(Harness) to design and test hardware for aerospace
applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Define hardware interfaces and design detailed harnesses, including
routing and environmental protection enclosures
Install and test hardware on a remotely operated aircraft
Collaborate with avionics, mechanical, and integration teams to
ensure cohesive hardware assembly
Required Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
industry experience
2+ years of experience in mechanical or avionics hardware
design
Experience with NX routing and Capital Harness Designer
Knowledge of connectors, backshells, EMI shielding, and cable/wire
protection methods
Experience designing and analyzing structural mounts
