Job Description:
A company is looking for a Principal/Lead Engineer specializing
in Golang for a remote or hybrid position in Champaign, IL.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the migration of a monolithic backend service to a
microservice architecture
Code primarily using Golang and interface with other teams to
deliver features end-to-end
Conduct design and code reviews while analyzing and improving
system efficiency, scalability, and stability
Required Qualifications
12+ years of relevant experience in building enterprise-grade
appliances or similar
5+ years of experience in designing and delivering features
independently
Proficiency in Golang and microservice architecture design and
implementation
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for software deployment
Familiarity with various databases for storing observability
data
