This position will report to the Sr. Business Performance Manager - Global HBS.Job ScopeThe FP&A Manager is responsible for all aspects of financial planning, analysis of data, and management reporting for Global HBS. The FP&A Manager is a critical role and is a member of the Finance Leadership team working in a fast-paced environment while building relationships within the larger HBS organization and Huntsman Corporation.In summary, as the FP&A Manager, you will:

• Manage and develop direct reports including oversight of direct reports' deliverables as well as supporting their personal and career development
• Working with the Business Leadership Team design and implement an FP&A service that meets the business needs for analytical support
• Working with the Business Leadership Team, simplify the reporting structure to mitigate the use of Excel and provide an online one-stop source all reporting requirements
• Implement and manage a simple transparent error free forecasting process delivering timely validated forecasts and related reports
• Implement and manage a simple transparent error free monthly management reporting process delivering timely and insightful reports on business performance
• Implement and manage a simple transparent error free annual budget process delivering timely validated budget reports and presentations
• Provide and effectively communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results
• Seek out profitability improvement opportunities, analyze and make recommendations to the Business Leadership Team
• Ensure a full suite support to the sales team including accurate, timely daily sales reporting, calculation of rebates/ commissions, preparation of inputs to forecasts / budgets, and simple transparent reporting on sales performance
• Work closely with Huntsman Polyurethanes Global Reporting Team
• Responsible for maintaining policies and procedures specific to areas of FP&A responsibilityQualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with an accredited business program in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • 6+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as functional manager
  • 6+ years of experience with SAP Business One.
  • CMA or CPA certification.Skills and Knowledge
    • Possess proficient analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
    • Demonstrated learning agility to respond favorably to evolving systems, applications, organizational objectives, and internal processes
    • Proficient ability to manage emotionally charged disagreements through consensus building, relationship management, and the formation and presentation of logical, data-based arguments

    • The incumbent will need to have a natural curiosity to question the status quo, finding insights and providing recommendations that drive improvement in profitability.
    • Proactively manage management reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting functions to provide simple, transparent, timely error free information to help the Leadership team to effectively manage the business.
    • Proficient knowledge of Windows-based computer systems is required.
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
    • Expert ability to interpret, analyze, and report complex data
    • Proficient ability to communicate verbally and in writing, using English
    • Proficient ability to manage multiple, overlapping priorities in a high-demand, customer- centric work environment
