• Work closely with HR to plan, develop, and implement communications initiatives that support our people strategy; employee engagement and support are top priorities
• Help maintain communications channels to reach employees with important information; be part of the team that develops and drives messaging frameworks that engage and inspire
• Determine ongoing needs and develop strategies and plans to address those needs through a variety of methods and touch points
• Implement reporting mechanisms for sharing measurements around success and areas of improvement
• Manage editorial calendar and content on business channels, while balancing input from key internal stakeholders across our regions
• Assist business unit leaders driving change and transformation with messaging support and access to internal communication channels where requiredWhat you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 5 years of experience with internal employee communications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Superior writing, editing and communication skills
  • Internal communications expertise, able to identify the most appropriate and effective internal communications techniques for use according to our objectivesIt'd be great if you also have:
    • Meaningful experience with employee engagement and HR communications
    • Knowledge of style guides, such as Chicago Style or Associated Press Style
    • A penchant for storytelling and shining a light on unsung heroes within an organization
    • Multi-media background, or at least the ability to help make smart edits in video, audio, etc.
