Job Description:

Looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to maintain clinical care standards by thoroughly reviewing staff documentation, guaranteeing adherence to state and federal regulations in the Spring, TX vicinity.

Responsibilities:
--- Analyze, review, and report on billable PDN nursing notes, charts, charting trends, and quality indicators.
--- Updates and coordinates with the supervising nurse and external clinical staff regarding changes in the patient's treatment plans when necessary.
--- Assist with quality assurance and policy compliance training programs and develop reference materials to resolve inadequacies.
--- Review/Audit patient charts.
--- Works with administrative and supervisory personnel regarding home care visits to assure high quality and proper follow-up patient care concerning patient needs.

Qualifications:
--- Licensed Vocational Nurse.
--- Experience in Trach, Vent, and Gtube care.
--- Strong experience in Medicare assessments and documentation.
--- Must be licensed in the state of Texas (or compact state licensure).
--- Must have at least one year of supervisory OR administrative OR QA experience in home health care or related health programs.
