Job Description:

Texas Hospital seeks Emergency Medicine physician coverage The 333-bed hospital provides comprehensive services, including a Level III Trauma Center, accredited Chest Pain Center, Primary Stroke Center, and an MBSAQIP-accredited surgical weight loss program. It also features two standalone emergency departments. Qualifications:

Board Certified Emergency Medicine
ABEM or AOBEM
Active Texas Medical License and DEA Practice Setting:
- Main Hospital has 333 beds and a Level III Trauma center
  - 30 ED beds with 40,000 annual visits
  - 2.1-2.2 PPH per physician
  - 25% admission rate
  - 9-10 hour shifts (7a-5p, 11a-9p, 5p-3a, 9p-7a)
  - 4 physicians per shift and 2 APPs
  - Full-service support
  - Two affiliated Free Standing Emergency Rooms
    - Census is 70 patients per day
    - 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a)
    - 5% admission rate
    - 2 physicians per shift and 2 APP' Travel and Lodging:
      - Travel and Lodging are available
