Job Description:

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
 
•Develop and implement program governance and controls across main work streams.
•Lead the overall program planning in order provide accurate resource forecasting, time estimates and a detailed budget and costs estimate to deliver the program
•Manage upward communication of progress against plan, communicate risks and resolution
•Develop the process and change management strategy to build a culture of compliance moving forward
•Manage the program against agreed schedule, quality, scope, budget and defined deliverables.
•Lead structured risk and issue management by planning, tracking, controlling and escalation/reporting
•Analyze issues and risks in terms of impact to schedule and budget and identify and execute upon mitigation plans
 
Skills, Experience & Education Requirements:
 
•Large, complex program management; integrated planning, scheduling, resourcing, budgeting, tracking, control and reporting experience
•NERC CIP program implementation experience
•Knowledge and experience with project management practices and techniques at the level of PMI Certification. Candidates with PMP certification preferred
•Executive level presentation and confidence
•Demonstrated ability to successfully manage project delivery in a large, multi-team environment for programs
•Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
•Understanding of how to build and leverage strong business relationships
•Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
•Excellent leadership and management skills
 
Skills & Experience Considered a Strong Plus:
• NERC CIP program implementation experience
• Domain Expertise Requirements:
• Electric Utility Experience
