Associate Probate Attorney For Fast Growth Atlanta Law FirmHybrid/Work From Home Opportunity AvailableOur premier Family Law and Probate firm has a full-time associate Probate attorney position available now and we are looking for the right experienced professional to join our team. Previous Probate experience is required for this position. Litigation experience is also valuable to us. Demonstrated possession of a set of skills is what we look for. You must have a desire and willingness to practice this specialty (Probate). You will have the opportunity to learn from senior associates and Partners on legal issues and will provide legal counsel to existing clients. You will also be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, and keeping client files up to date and moving forward.We have cultivated an amazing team and work environment. Generous benefits packages are offered.Compensation:$90,000 - $160,000 yearlyResponsibilities:Demonstrate experience in taking ownership of a client's case - drafting and responding to correspondence, discovery, pleadings, and motions; representing clients in mediation; pretrial hearings, temporary hearings, motion hearings, and trialsConduct client meetings and recommend strategiesManage client's emotions and expectationsDelegate work to paralegals and legal assistants and monitor their workResolve cases efficiently by communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegalsAnalyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clientsQualifications:Candidates must currently be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred
Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years
Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required
Able to work independently while handling multiple files
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary
