Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join their team in Cypress, Texas.Job SummaryThis position involves performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to create detailed images of the body, which are used by radiologists to diagnose and treat patients.The ideal candidate will have experience working with MRI equipment and will be able to lift and move patients as needed.Key Responsibilities:

• Performs MRI procedures on patients, preparing them for the exam, explaining the procedure, and positioning them correctly
• Administers contrast agents when necessary and ensures the technical quality of the scan
• Enters and monitors patient data, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks
• Performs quality assurance on MRI equipment and assists with accreditation efforts
• Identifies and reports any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management
• Provides safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to Memorial Hermann policies and proceduresRequirements:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • Licenses/Certifications: Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, and one of the following: Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR), or Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)Preferred Qualifications:
    • Breast MRI experience
