The ERP Specialist will be responsible for optimizing our Maximo enterprise asset management (EAM) system. This includes customization, configuration, integration, and ongoing support to ensure the system meets the organization's maintenance management needs.

What you will do:

• Optimizing and maintain the Maximo EAM system, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
  
• Providing technical expertise and functional support for the GTM business on integration issues.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Maximo system enhancements and workflows.
  
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure proper functionality and performance.
  
• Develop and implement Maximo best practices and standards to optimize asset management processes.
  
• Provide technical expertise and support to end-users, troubleshooting issues and providing solutions in a timely manner.
  
• Analyze data within Maximo to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in asset performance and maintenance planning.
  
• Train and mentor team members on Maximo functionality and best practices.
  
• Stay up to date with Maximo industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the system's capabilities.
  
• Lead system testing to ensure it is completed to support performance/functionality and for system defect, enhancements, and upgrades. This includes creating test scripts, providing test evidence in Enbridge supported testing system, creating defects, participating in operational continual improvement reviews.
  
• Coordinate defect fixes with user community, TIS, and software vendors.
  
• Liaison in between TIS, EWM, and stakeholders to ensure correct business requirements are gathered and implemented.
  
• Researching and leading mobility/digital enablement across the ERP solution
  
• Collaboration with GTM TIS/ENT TIS and GTM Systems/Data Strategy team to ensure ERP roadmap items are documented, submitted and executed as per the business needs.
  
  
  Who you are:
  
  Required
  
  • Related university degree relevant discipline (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical) from an accredited university with appropriate specialization OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience
    
    Preferred:
    
    • Strong technical knowledge and experience in Maximo configuration, customization, and integration.
      
    • In-depth understanding of asset management principles and best practices.
      
    • Proficient in SQL and other programming languages related to Maximo.
      
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
      
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
      
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
      
    • Maximo certification(s) is a plus.

      Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
      
      Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
