Senior Physicist - Quantum Computing

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Automation & Calibration.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and integrate new quantum computers and testbeds
Contribute to the system design, modeling, assembly, and characterization of trapped ion quantum computers
Measure and analyze data on quantum computer performance to drive continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

PhD in experimental quantum physics or related experience
3+ years of experience in quantum control or sensing, preferably with trapped ions or neutral atoms
Experience with JavaScript or Python programming
Strong hands-on capability, with a focus on hardware and systems
Experience with alignment and characterization of optical systems and interferometers is a plus
