role, you will:Inspire and guide engineering students in their
career planning, employer and industry research, and job search
skills.Create and innovate new programs that provide hands-on
experiences and professional development opportunities.Lead the way
in researching and implementing cutting-edge digital methods for
delivering career services, including online collaboration,
live-streaming, LMS platforms, web-based presentations, and virtual
instruction.Collaborate and connect with employers and recruiting
organizations to open doors for our students.We are looking for a
dynamic team player who can prioritize tasks effectively and build

hours.QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:Bachelor's
degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceThree
years of progressively responsible professional related experience
in higher education, industry or governmentRequired Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities:Ability to multitask and work cooperatively
with othersStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent
decision-making skillsAbility to work independently once given a

related experience with Science and Engineering Programs in higher

proficiency in Microsoft Office facetsKnowledge of Texas A&M

skillsResponsibilities:AdviseAdvises students regarding
experiential education, career development and career
decision-making, and full-time employment issuesPromotes and

choiceInstructs individuals and groups in the use of career
services and facilities' computerized guidance
programsOutreachIdentifies employers and promotes the concept of
experiential education to executives, operations managers, and
human resource personnel in the public and private sectors to
develop quality work-integrated learning opportunities for
studentsProvides advice to human resource and operations managers
to design, develop, implement, and improve student employment
programsInteracts with campus recruiting managers and human
resource personnel to build working relationships with current and
potential employers and develop experiential education and
full-time employment opportunities for studentsConducts outreach to
publicize and educate current and prospective students and/or
parents about the services of the Career CenterConducts
orientations to experiential education programs and other career
services for students seeking to utilize Career Center
servicesConducts career education programs, events and services
targeted to the needs of students preparing to seek experiential
education and full-time employmentProgram Management and
DevelopmentAssists in developing career education programs, events,
and services targeted to the needs of students preparing to seek
experiential education and full-time employmentRecommends and/or
develops new procedures for interacting with students, employer
organizations, faculty advisors and other university programs as
needs are identifiedOperationsAttends student and employer
sponsored events related to experiential education and career
servicesAssists with center-wide workshops and events for all
studentsParticipates in professional organizations for the purpose
of continuous learning to facilitate the growth and development of
the Texas A&M University experiential education programs and
Career Center programs and servicesRepresents the Career Center at
university-wide events including various career fairs, sponsored
programs for prospective students, and other events to promote
