Endoscopy Technician II Job Description
Highly skilled Endoscopy Technician II required to provide exceptional support to gastroenterology providers and healthcare team members in a fast-paced endoscopy suite environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Assist with preparation and execution of GI endoscopy procedures, including cleaning and disinfection of endoscopes and equipment.
  
• Anticipate physician needs and provide support during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized endoscopy suite, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless communication and patient care.
  
• Act as a mentor and trainer for junior Endoscopy Technicians, sharing knowledge and expertise.
  
  
  Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
    
  • Teach and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    
  • Facilitate teamwork and communication among healthcare team members.

  • Anticipate and respond to physician needs during procedures.
    
    
    Requirements:
    
    • 
      
    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
      
    • Three years of experience as an Endoscopy Technician required.
      
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
      
      
      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
      
      • 
        
      • Strong knowledge of endoscopy procedures and equipment.
        
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
        
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
        
      • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in electronic health records.
